Huai Jinpeng Engages with Central Asian Education Ministers

From May 12 to 13, Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng engaged in a series of meetings with education ministers from several Central Asian nations. The discussions included representatives from Iran, Turkmenistan, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The aim was to explore opportunities for deepening bilateral educational exchanges and cooperation.

Huai Jinpeng highlighted the significant strides in educational collaboration between China and Central Asian countries, as well as member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). He emphasized that this progress is driven by the strategic guidance and encouragement from President Xi Jinping and global leaders. China is committed to further enhancing cooperation across various educational domains such as higher education, basic education, vocational training, digital learning, and language instruction.

The education ministers present expressed their sincere appreciation for China's contributions to the establishment and development of the China-Central Asia Education Ministers Meeting framework and the SCO's education discussions. They conveyed a strong desire to strengthen their collaborative efforts with China, actively participating in exchanges to learn from China's extensive educational experiences.

These ministers indicated their intent to foster closer institutional and personnel interactions between their nations and China.
